About Sky Story Bed and Breakfast

Joseph Naytowhow and Diana Chabros invite you to experience Val Marie and the Grasslands. Both artists, (Joseph a performing artist, educator, actor and translator of Nehiyo Plains/Woodland Cree ancestry), and Diana, a visual artist, arts based manager/consultant and Yoga educator), are inspired by the area's land and sky. They trust you will be too!

About Val Marie  and Grasslands

A small village in southwest Saskatchewan, Val Marie is a rustic portal situated on the threshold of Grassland National Park, one of the most fragile eco-systems in the world.  A mixture of ranching, farming, and tourism with a growing artistic economy, Val Marie boasts two galleries, a natural history museum/cafe/bookshop, an antique shop, several artist studios, one of Saskatchewan's oldest grain elevators (currently being refurbished), and a cooperatively owned grocery store!

Grasslands National Park offers marked trails where visitors will find breathtaking vistas of land and sky. The light, color, form, texture, fragrance and movement of the grasses, birds and resident animal populations, never fail to mezmerize locals as well as even the most crusty visitors! Check out the Park's website http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/sk/grasslands/index.aspx for programs and services or inquire about Sky Story indigenous worldview guided tours.
